Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) once every year to determine the eligibility of the candidates to become teachers in schools located across India. Individuals who wish to become teachers in schools can focus on this exam. Applications can be submitted after the release of the notification on the official website of the exam. This exam is conducted twice a year.
Test is also popularly known as CBSE Teachers Test or CBSE teachers exam. The test has two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Individuals who wish to become teachers for primary classes (classes 1 to 5) can attempt Paper 1. Paper 2 is for those who wish to become teachers for upper primary classes (classes 6 to 8). Candidates can answer either one of the papers or both of them.
The applicants have to pass the test with the required score (cutoff marks) and the scores can be used while applying for teachers jobs in schools located across India. The marks card (score card or certificate) is said to be having validity of a lifetime.
Candidates are declared pass based on their scores in the exam. The score must be 60 per cent or more marks in the examination to get qualified for the award of the CTET eligibility certificate. Reserved category candidates must pass the exam with 55 per cent or more marks to become eligible for the award of CTET eligibility certificate.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling session of JEE Advanced qualified candidates.
