Eligibility criteria for AU AIMEE 2022 depends on the course the applicant wishes to study through the exam. Candidates can get admission into graduate, postgraduate, D.Pharma and Pharma-D courses. The condition of eligibility is being provided below for the sake of the students:
B.Pharm
The candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology/ Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Biology as a mandatory subject with a minimum of 45% marks for General/ OBC category candidates and a minimum of 35% marks for SC/ST category candidates. The candidates must have secured a minimum of 35% marks in English for all category students.
B.Pharm (Lateral Entry)
The applicants must have passed a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) with a minimum of 50% marks from Annamalai University or an equivalent university.
M.Pharm
The candidate must have passed B.Pharm with a minimum of 50% marks from Annamalai University or an equivalent university.
D.Pharm
The candidates must have passed the HSC examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology/Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Mathematics as a mandatory subject.
Age limit
The candidates should be 17 years of age as of 31/12/2022.
Nationality
The candidates should be a citizen of India.
Point to remember
Overseas Citizens of India are eligible to apply if registered under section 7A of the Citizenship Act 1955 (Central Act 57 of 1955).
The exam will be conducted in offline mode - pen and paper based mode and the duration of the test is three hours. There will be 240 questions in multiple choice format. There will be two sections in the exam - Section 1 and Section 2.
Section 1 will comprise questions in Biology (Botany & Zoology) and Section 2 will have questions related to Science (Physics & Chemistry). The total marks for the test is 240. The pattern is being given in tabular format below for the sake of the students:
