Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Exam 2022 Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) located at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh conducts Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) to provide admission into engineering, pharmacy and science courses through lateral entry for diploma holders or BSc degree holders.
The exam is conducted by JNTU Anantapur on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) and is a state level test of graduation level.
The exam is conducted once a year and candidates who have completed diploma in engineering disciplines or BSc in science disciplines can apply for the exam to study engineering, pharmacy and science courses. The notification is released on the official website of APSCHE at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released.
The application submission for 2023 went on from 10.03.2023 to 10.04.2023 (without late fee). Application could be submitted till 19.04.2023 with a payment of late fee of Rs 2000 and till 24.04.2023 with a payment of Rs 5000.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and location of the test centre will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering disciplines have to be answered in 3 hours.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.
Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, if they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
