Eligibility criteria for AP LAWCET 2022

The condition of eligibility depends upon the type of the course the candidate is trying to apply through this exam. Candidates who pass the exam can get admission into 3 year LLB and 5 year LLB course and the eligibility condition is different for each of them. The eligibility is provided below for the sake of the students:

3 year LLB

Candidates should have passed two-year Intermediate examination (Class 12th or Plus-two)from a recognised educational institution. They should have secured at least 45% marks in Class 12th examination if the applicants are form General category. The same for belonging to the BC category need to have at least 42% marks and those belonging to SC/ ST category need to have at least 40% marks in the qualifying exam.

5 year LLB

Candidates should have completed their graduation or postgraduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates are 45%. The same for candidates of BC category is 42% and for SC/ST category candidates, the qualifying marks are 40%.

Exam pattern for AP LAWCET 2022

The exam will be conducted as a computer based test and candidates will have 90 minutes to answer questions related to legal aptitude, general knowledge, mental ability and current afffairs. The questions will be in multiple choice format and total marks are 120 and questions to be answered are 120.
