National Dairy Research Institute Karnal Scholarships

At NDRI scholarships are given to the candidates  based on-

1.  Marks obtained in the entrance test
2.  Academic records.
   7560/- P.M. for two years plus ` 6000/- per annum as contingency
3. ICAR Junior Research Fellowship for Master’s degree
   8640/- P.M. (For Non Veterinarians) and ` 12,000/- P.M. (For veterinarians)
4. National Talent Scholarship
   The National Talent Scholarship (NTS) @ 1000/- per month is awarded by ICAR on merit provided that the university/institute is located outside the state of his/her domicile.

B.Tech - Admission in this course shall be made on the basis of merit through All India Entrance Examination conducted by the Education Division, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan-II, Pusa, New Delhi. 

M.Tech - Admission in this course is  on the basis of merit in the Entrance Examination and Counselling.

Ph.D. - Admission in this course will be based on merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Examination.

• The candidate must submit all the original +2 certificates
• The  candidates need to appear for ICAR AIEEA  for UG and PG course.
• The candidate must pass the entrance test condusted by the university.
• Candidates can apply at NDRI in the offline mode. NDRI application forms can either be purchased or downloaded from the official website of the varsity. 

National Dairy Research Institute Karnal Admission Process

To apply for the admission, the students have to visit the official website of the college. The mode of admission is online only. UG admissions are given as per AIEEA exam scores and PG admissions are considered on the basis of University examinations score. The candidates who are applying must be an Indian Nationals or PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).

Admission Process

1. The students must visit the ICAR Official Portal.
2. The students have to then select the Course they want to apply for - UG or PG.
3. Fill the ICAR Exam Application Form with correct details.
4. Upload Photograph and the digital Signature.
5. Choose the mode of Fee Payment (Online Payment Gateway, SBBJ Bank Challan, NEFT Challan (for banks other than SBBJ).
6. Make the Fee Payment & take a print out of Challan.
7. If the students are paying the requisite fee through Offline mode, then visit the prescribed bank & Make the Payment of fee.
8. Submit ICAR AIEEA Application Form.
9. Now, Application Number and Password will be generated & note them for further reference.
10. Take a hard copy of ICAR Online Application Form for future use.

Application Fee for AIEEA Exam:

• For GEN, OBC and UPS Categories – 500/-
• For SC/ST and PC Categories – 250/-

They take care to keep the students away from any kind of junk food and yet give them tasty meals to enjoy. Also, on the weekends the students can expect some amazing food. Security of the hostel campus is tight and intact for both the boys and girls. The students have to be on time and after the outer visiting hours, the students are not supposed to be outside.

Outside people who want to visit the hostel campus have to make an entry and then take permission after which they can enter the hostel campus. Otherwise people from outside cannot go inside the hostel campus for no reason. There are wardens, house boys, cleaning boys and ladies to help the students with their needs and regular activities inside the hostel campus.
