Grant Medical College and Sir J.J Group of Hospital was established in 1845. The college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. According to India Today Survey, 2007, it is ranked as top 10 Best Medical Colleges in India and recognized by Medical Council of Singapore.

Sir Jamsetjee Jeejebhoy Group of Hospitals is an amalgamation of four hospitals- Sir J.J Hospital, St George's Hospital, Gokuldas Tejpal Hospital and Cama and Albless hospital. Grant College offers MD, MS and Diploma courses in various streams. There is more to it than meets the eye.
