VMCON-Karaikal Eligibility Criteria 

UG Courses Eligibility

Admissions will be made for UG Degree programmes, based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and merit-based Counselling conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF-DU and the eligibility criteria prescribed by the VMRF-DU rules & regulations from time to time.

PG Courses Eligibility

Admissions will be made for PG Degree programmes, based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and merit-based Counselling conducted by the Admission Monitoring Committee (AMC) of VMRF-DU and the eligibility criteria prescribed by the VMRF-DU rules & regulations from time to time.

• MD & MS: A Pass in MBBS Degree Course or an equivalent qualification and should have obtained a minimum eligibility percentile in NEET-PG. 

MBBS - ELIGIBILITY

PhD Course - Eligibility

Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum 55% Marks (Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) and differently-abled candidates).Candidates qualified in UGC -NET or any other National-level test for JRF are exempted from the Entrance Test.

VMCON-Karaikal Admission 2025

Vinayaka Missions College of Nursing Karaikal Admission 2025 is for students willing to get admission in the Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and MBBS Courses. Students can check the fee structure and other important details related to admission on this page. 

Documents Required for Admission

The Candidate should have submitted the following certificates/ documents in original along with 4 Sets of photocopy of the same to the university at the time of admission. 

1. Provisional Allotment letter issued by the MCC of DGHS, MFHW, Govt. of India, New Delhi. 
2. NEET (UG)-2024 Admit Card issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA), New Delhi. 
3. NEET (UG)-2024 Result / Rank Letter issued by the NTA, New Delhi. 
4. H.Sc. Mark Sheet or its equivalent (11th & 12th ) 
5. 12th Pass Certificate (in case of CBSE or ISCE)
6. Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate issued from the Institution last studied. 
7. Migration Certificate (if applicable) 
8. The Candidates should also bring the following Certificate as follows (if applicable). 
9. a) SC / ST certificate issued by the competent authority (in the format as specified in the Prospectus) and should be in the English Language. Sub - Caste should be mentioned in the certificate. 
10. b) OBC certificate issued by the competent authority. The Sub-Caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to the Creamy Layer. The OBC Certificate must be in the format mentioned in the prospectus. 
11. c) Orthopaedic Physical Disability (Physically Handicapped (PH)) Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board. No other PH certificate issued by any other Authorities / Hospital will be entertained. 
12. Nativity Certificate or Domicile Certificate 
13. 10th Mark Sheet /Grade Statement / Birth Certificate as proof of Date of Birth
14. Copy of the Aadhaar Card of the Candidate. 
15. Copy of the Aadhaar Card and PAN Card of the Parents. 
16. Medical Certificate for Physical Fitness and mental soundness from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Govt. Civil Surgeon. 
17. Recent Passport size colour photograph – 9 Nos. 
18. To keep ready scanned copies of the above-mentioned documents (Sl. No.1 to 13) 

NOTE: If the qualifying examination is other than that conducted in India, candidates should submit the following certificates. 

1. i) Equivalence Certificate obtained from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi on the Date of reporting/admission. 
2. ii) 12th Grade Transcript
3. iii) 12th Pass Certificate (in case of CBSE or ISCE) or High School Diploma Certificate. iv) Accreditation details of School & Numerical conversion of Grades into marks.

Campus Facility:

• The VMMC Karaikal hostel provides furnished rooms that include a Table, Chair, Almirah, Iron Shelves, Cot, Curtain Rod, Light, and Fan/AC.
• Medical facilities in terms of Doctor consultations are available every day for 02 hrs at the VMMC Karaikal Campus and once a week in the Girls Hostel. The doctor is also available on call to take care of general and specific ailments. Psychologist visits twice a week in the campus to counsel the students.
• Canteen services are available within the Vmmc Campus as well as the Girls Hostel Building and offer – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, etc.
• Badminton, Table Tennis, and Volleyball facilities are available within vmmc Campus.
• Wi-Fi enabled Campus as well as Girls Hostel.

VMMC Karaikal provides well-secured Residential facilities to the outstation boys and girls students coming from different regions of India / abroad.VMMC Girls’ Hostel shifted to its own building with an area of 0.546 acres, at Karaikal within a distance of about 0.5 kilometres from the Academic campus.
