Vignan University Guntur Scholarship

VIGNAN University gives away a wide range of scholarships to its students at the University. 
Scholarships are offered on merit basis and to the best and the brightest applicants from undergraduate and graduate programs. Scholarships are given to students with good academic track record, having the confidence of maintaining the consistency of their performance.

• The preference scholarship seats will be given to the V-SAT qualified candidates.
• Scholarship will be given mainly on the basis of merit, availability of seats and first come first served basis.
• 25% of the total intake in each department are reserved for scholarships,out ofwhich 5% seats with 100% scholarship, 10% seats with 50% scholarship and 10% seats with 25% scholarship. (For Example, out of 60 seats, 3 seats are with 100 % scholarship, 6 seats are with 50% scholarship and 6 seats with 25 % scholarship).
• The scholarship is applicable for four years of study subject to maintaining a minimum of 70% of marks in the preceding year without any arrears.
• The rank in JEE (Mains/Adv) should be All India Marks/Ranks in their respective category.

Other eligibility criteria

• Each candididate should have passed his/her +2 with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering & Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, along with bridge course or courses conducted by the board for the candidates enrolled from academic year 2000 onward, or any other examination recognized as equivalent to  the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
• It is compulsory for the  Candidates to clear the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education & Training, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education & Training, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates must have completed min. 17 years of age & an upper age limit of 22 years (25 years for SC & ST) as on 31st Dec of the year of admission.

Vignan University Guntur Selection Criteria

Eligibility:

• Foreign/NRI students born on or after 1st July 1996 can apply for UG or PG programmes at VIGNAN University. They must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
• Students with a degree certificate/school passing certificate / diploma obtained from their respective country / Universities or Boards of Higher Education, recognized as equivalent to those in India, by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) can apply.
• Foreign/NRI students will have to take the Remedial English Language Course (100 hrs English Proficiency Course) offered in the University, as a part of the curriculum.
• The programmes offered to Foreign/NRI students might be lesser in number as compared to domestic students.

• Bi.P.C Students will also be eligible to apply for admission to various Vignans' Courses.

Category A

Admissions will be completely based on the candidate's performance in V-SAT/EAMCET/JEE (Mains)-2020 with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 marks in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana and other South Indian States in the +2 / Intermediate examination and 50% aggregate marks in the remaining states of India.

Category B

Admission eligibility open for candidates who have scored at least CGPA of 7.0  in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana and other South Indian States in the +2 / Intermediate examination and 50% aggregate marks in the remaining states of India.

Register Yourself:

The candidates wiiling to join VIGNAN University need to register themselves either online or offiline. Once the registration is done the candidate will recieve his/her login ID & Password which wll help the candidate in the upcoming admission procedures.

Using the generated Id & Password the candidate can fill the application form available both online and offline. The candidate must fill in his /her personal details in the form such as name, parents names, address, contact details, etc. 

Upload required documents:

This is the most important part of the admission process. The candidate must make sure that all the required documents are submitted in their original or attested forms. Some of the important documents to be submitted are, photocopies, transfer certificate, +2 marksheets and signature of parent and student.
