Students need to check the selection criteria for each course as mentioned below.
B.Tech - The Selection of candidates in B.Tech course is entirley based on JEE Main/VTUEEE Score. However, The University also grants directs admission on the meriyt basis.
B.Sc - The Selection of candidates in B.Sc Programme is done onn the basis of 10+2 Exam Score.
B.Com - In B.com Programme, Candidates need to fulfil the eligiblity criteria of course.
MBA - The Selection in the MBA course is done on the basis of marks secured in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ TANCET/ CMAT
Vel Tech University Admission Process
The admission to Vel Tech is granted via two processes i.e. direct entry and through entrance exam. Candidates looking for admission through entrance exam need to appear for VTUEEE and for direct admission, Aspirants can lock the seat through fee payment. VelTech has more than 80 research labs where students can do their research related work and practicals.
VTUEEE - VTUEEE 2019 is a Vel Tech Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination for Scholarship which is conducted by Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology for the award of Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship for four year B.Tech. Degree Programmes of the Institution.
Direct Admission - VelTech University also allows the provision for candidates who seek admission to B.Tech Degree Programmes should have either completed or appeared for, any one of the following examinations as on March 2019:10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by any State Board.
Lateral Entry To B.tech Degree Programme: Candidates who hold the Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent, are eligible to apply in the section corresponding to the section of study for admission to the third semester of B.Tech.
(OR) Applicants holding a Degree in Science (B.Sc.,) (10 + 2 + 3 stream) with an H.Sc. subject in Mathematics. Is qualified.
Registration: Firstly, Students need to register for the official website of the University. After the registration the student will generate the Login ID & Password.
VelTech University Application Form: Now, Students can fill the application form using the login credentials. In the Veltech University application form, students need to fill in the details such as personal information such as name, parents names, address, contact details, etc.
Upload documents: In this part of the application form, students need to upload the scanned photograph, signature and 12th class marksheet.
Application Fees Payment: Students need to make the payment for successful submission of the application. The application shall not be accepted until the payment is not done.
