St Anthony’s College of Meghalaya is an old institute which began with a very humble start towards the education of children. One of its closely held accolades could well be the ‘five stars’ accredited by NAAC – making the College first ever in the North-eastern region of India. This coeducational college holds the honor of being the first of its kind set up by the Salesians for imparting higher education. St Anthony’s College of Meghalaya has been also awarded the title of being a ‘College with Potential for Excellence’ by the University Grants Commission of India.
