SRM University Sonepat Scholarship

Scholarships are given to meritorious and financially backward students to encourage them and make sure that money should not become an issue in education. The institute has implemented a distinctive scholarship programme called the ‘SRMH Scholar Search Programme’.

Under this Program, an applicant may qualify for a scholarship up to 100% of the University Tuition Fee. The scholarship offered is applicable for the duration of the programme, subject to maintaining the required CGPA.

Chancellor's Scholarship

This is a prestigious scholarship for academically meritorious candidates & performers in National level Exams. The meritorious students can avail Scholarships based on their merit in XII/JEE/SAT.

Note: All scholarships will be awarded on first cum first served basis, as limited scholarship seats are available and subject to the valid score of SRMHCAT. All scholarships shall be awarded on tuition fees only.

Haryana Domicile Scholarship

As per provisions of the Haryana State Private Universities Act, 2006 clause 35 & 36 SRM University Delhi-NCR Sonepat Haryana has Implemented the provision of Scholarships for Haryana Domicile Candidates (25% of total seats). The criteria for availing of the scholarship are: 

• Rank/Performance in the SRMHCAT entrance exam.
• Rank/Performance in the qualifying exam.
• The student must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria.
• Continuation of the scholarship in the subsequent years will be based on minimal academic performance as per University policy.

It is mandatory for candidates applying under the category of Haryana Domicile to submit a Domicile certificate at the time of counselling/admission.

Scholarship for Diploma holders (Lateral entry) only

Scholarship Policy for Lateral Entry Admission in B.Tech. (Except for Specialization courses like Xebia)

• Continuation of Scholarship for the Third & subsequent years will be subject to securing a minimum CGPA of 7 and above. In case of a CGPA less than 7, the scholarship will be discontinued.
• Students should have cleared all the subjects of their respective semesters.
• This policy is valid only for the AY 2025-26.

SRM Group Alumni Scholarship (For Students continuing their study at SRM)

Students who are graduating from SRMUH or any of SRM group of institutes and wish to continue their journey of study at SRM University Delhi NCR, Sonepat-

• Will benefit from the same scholarship they were availing in their final year of UG.
• In case no scholarship was availed during the study of the U.G. programme then a Flat 25% scholarship on tuition fees can be granted.

Chancellor Sports Scholarship

To encourage and foster sports culture among students, SRM University Delhi-NCR, Sonepat has implemented an innovative scholarship scheme "Chancellor's Sports Scholarship”.

SRMUH believes in holistic learning and gives importance to each student who excels at all spheres of youth life. In this regard, sports being an essential tool to empower one, both physically and mentally, such scholarship schemes are provided to motivate and inspire students to excel in the field of sports.

How to avail of the Chancellor's Sports Scholarships"

• Step 1- Fill the application form.
• Step 2- In consultation with the Directorate of Physical Education & Sports, a date will be fixed for the Sports Trial and the same will be communicated to you.
• Step 3- The documents of the student will be given for verification. Afterwards, students will also have to attend the "Physical & Skill Test". The date for the same will be communicated to the students.
• Step 4-  Based on the credential and fitness test, a list of selected candidates will be announced by the University

The criteria for getting selected in the university for any course is the eligibility criteria. The first point to be considered for choosing the candidates is his or her qualifications. Applicants have to fulfil the eligibility, that is possess the required qualification. A pass in plus two is required to apply for graduation, students have to pass graduation in the relevant discipline to apply for postgraduate courses.

Performance in the qualifying exam will be analysed while providing the admission to students, students have to pass their qualifying degree with the required pass percentage. The documents of the applicants submitted while filling the application form will also be checked to know more about the students applying for courses.
Those who are selected will be likely appearing for an interview, where their documents will also be verified. Post verification, students will be provided seats based on criteria like performance in qualifying exam, student’s choice of the course, seat availability. Admissions at SRM University Sonepat

The admission in the college is done through two modes which are:

• Early Admission Mode (EAM)
• Regular Admission Mode (RAM)

The process to apply for the courses is online and students have to visit the official website of the institution to submit applications for the academic programs. The procedure to be followed is mentioned below for the sake of the students:

1. They have to type the URL of the college they wish to apply in the browser of the computer and submit it to allow the website to download.
2. After the webpage is ready, candidates have to click the link for registration to create an account with username and password.
3. After the account is created, candidates can login and start applying for the admission.
4. The required documents have to be submitted, registration fee has to be paid and verification of details provided while filling the form has to be done to ensure there are no errors.
