About SRM University Kattankulathur

SRM Institute of Science and Technology is a deemed high-ranking university that is part of the SRM Institutions Group. SRM IST has a total of four campuses in Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu from which the main campus is situated. Chennai itself has two more campuses, the Ramapuram SRM IST campus, and the Vadapalani SRM IST campus.

The fourth is located in Delhi NCR, outside Chennai. SRM IST Ghaziabad. The institute offers UG, PG and PhD courses at the Kattankulathur campus with over 50,000 students and more than 2,600 faculty across all SRM IST campuses; the most popular of these are MBA, BTech, MBBS, BA, BSc, PhD and MPhil.

B.Tech	Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent examination, recognized Board. he/she is required to score at least 50% aggregate in PCM/PCB in the qualifying examination. He/she must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology as core subjects in 12th Standard.
M.Tech	Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology or an equivalent degree in an appropriate area or M.Sc and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate.
LL.B. (Hons.)	Candidates must have passed graduation or an equivalent examination in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate.
