Sanskaram College of Veterinary And Animal Science Jhajjar - A journey of million miles starts with a single step and this has stood true with regards to this institution. The college has begun its journey in a very humble manner and as the time moved ahead, the organisation has become one of the highly admired institutions whose fame has reached all corners of the country. Master Dayanand Memorial Educational Trust was established in October 2007.
Under this trust, Sanskaram College of Veterinary and Animal Science (Sanskaram COVAS), Jhajjar, Haryana, has been established with broad vision, mission and mandate. The college is affiliated with Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS), Hisar. Courses offered at the institution are BVSc & AH and VLDD which is a diploma course.
SCOVAS has great infrastructure in place, it is considered to be on par with the best in the country. It has modern buildings, audio-visual laboratories, residential accommodation for the faculty and separate hostel for boys and girls with all the amenities. Department of Veterinary Clinical Complex serves the need of remedies for all animals including wild animals, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, clinical teaching and various veterinary extension activities.

A pass in plus-two is a must to apply for graduate courses, candidates who have passed bachelors degree in the relevant discipline can apply for postgraduate courses. A pass in plus-two from a recognised educational institution with subjects as biology, physics and chemistry as subjects is the eligibility condition to apply. NEET UG is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates can opt for either one of the above mentioned exams and then appear for it. Post appearing, candidates have to check for the result and ensure they have passed the test with required qualifying marks.
Students who passed NEET UG can take part in the counselling conducted by Veterinary Council of India (VCI), they can also likely apply for counselling conducted by LUVAS. Selection of students will be done based on factors – performance in written exam (NEET UG), performance in the qualifying exam, choice of the course by the candidates, availability of seats.

Post, ensuring the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria, candidates can follow the procedure mentioned below:
3A. Sometimes after confirmation, candidates may receive an One Time Password (OTP) either on their mobile phone or email after submission of registration form. In that case, they can enter the OTP and receive the final confirmation of submission of registration form and the details about username and password created.

6. Post uploading of the documents, candidates can pay the registration fee using the online modes like credit card, debit card and net banking and obtain confirmation. After obtaining the confirmation, candidates can check for errors in the application and rectify them if any. Post rectification/verifying, application can be submitted and confirmation for successful submission can be obtained.
The life on campus is more than comfortable as the amenities there are on par with the best in the country. The focus will be on academics where each program is comprehensive to provide the student with sufficient inputs and training in relevant skills so as to help the students embark on a professional career. Apart from providing core inputs related to the specific program the student will also be provided with an exposure to inter-disciplinary areas.
