The condition of eligibility depends on the type of the course the candidate is wishing to apply in the university. Graduation, Post Graduation, Doctorate programmes are offered at LPU and eligibility condition for each type of course is different. A pass in plus-two is must to apply for graduate courses, pass in graduation in the relevant disciplines is required to apply for postgraduate courses. Candidates after ensuring that they are fulfilling the required eligibility conditions can apply for the course of their choice in the institution. The process to apply is online, candidates have to visit the official website of the institution and then click the appropriate link for registration. The registration can be taken up and then account comprising username and password has to be created.

Post creation of user account, they can login and then start filling the application form. The application form must be filled with details like the name of the candidate, date of birth, address, communication information like email, mobile number, course desiring to apply, qualification details. Post filling with these details, students have to pay the registration fees and then submit the application form. 

Students can also look for offline mode of application form submission, if made available. Under this mode, candidates can visit the institution premises and then procure the application form along with prospectus. The form can be filled and submitted there itself or it can be brought home and filled and then sent to the institution either through post or courier. Post application submission, students have to appear for a written test and pass it with required score, candidates who pass the written test with required score can take part in the further admission procedure which comprises an interview or counselling.

Students who wish to join engineering at graduation level can appear for PET conducted by Professional Examination Board (VYAPAM) of Madhya Pradesh or AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Exam). Students with good score in plus-two exams can take part in the college level counselling.  Students focused on MBA have to appear for MET organized by Professional Examination Board of MP. After allotment of seats to MET qualified candidates, if any seats are vacant, they are filled on the basis of marks obtained in Graduation. 

Students focused on graduation in engineering or pharmacy can also focus on Pre-engineering & Pharmacy Test (PE & PT). The entrance tests have to be passed with good score to become eligible for taking part in the further admission process. Candidates with more than good marks in qualifying exams can take part in the counselling process directly. Students who get the seat can convey their acceptance, pay the fees and then join the college.

1. Visit the official website of the exam and click the link for registration and wait for the form to appear.

2. Post appearance of the form, candidates can fill it with the details like their name, age, date of birth, qualification details, permanent and temporary address, their email id and mobile phone number and submit them and create an account comprising username and password and submit them.

3. The students would receive confirmation message of successful submission and post submission they can view the details about the username and password created and website where they can use the username and password.

3A. Sometimes after confirmation, candidates may receive an One Time Password (OTP) either on their mobile phone or email after submission of registration form. In that case, they can enter the OTP and receive the final confirmation of submission of registration form and the details about username and password created.

4. Applicants can login in with the help of credentials (username and password) created and start filling the application form with details – the name (of the candidate), age, date of birth, educational qualification, residential address and permanent address, the course they wish to study, the test centre where they wish to write the test.

5. Post filling all the details, applicants have to upload the documents, the documents to be uploaded would depend on the type of the course, they are wishing to apply for the exam.
