BVSc & AH	Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry	The candidates under all the categories must have passed the 10+2 examination and obtained a minimum of 50% marks (except SC category) in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from a recognized approved Board of School Education having equivalences by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi/CBSE/ICSE and also by Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani. As per Chief Secretary to Govt. of Haryana letter no. 22/129/ 2013-1GSIII dated 16.07.2014, the SC category candidates will be allowed a relaxation up to 5% of the requirement for General Category i.e., the SC candidates securing a minimum of 47.5% marks in aggregate of the four subjects mentioned above will be eligible to apply for admission. No such relaxation will be applicable for management quota seats of RPS College of Veterinary Sciences, Balana (Mahendergarh) Haryana. The candidate must have attained or will attain the age of 17 years. The upper age limit for candidates of all categories(except SC and BC) is 25 years as of the day of registration. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 years for the candidates of SC and BC categories of Haryana State. No such relaxation in the upper age will be applicable for management quota seats of RPS College of Veterinary Sciences, Balana. The list of Boards/Universities, un-recognized/un-approved/not found equivalent by the Board of School Education, Haryana/CBSE/ICSE, and Council of Boards of School Education, New Delhi. Later on, if any other Board is not found an equivalent for 1Oth and/or 10+2, the certificate issued by such a board will be invalid and the candidates possessing such certificates will not be eligible for the admission. Inadvertently, if any such candidate is admitted, his/her admission shall be cancelled at any time by the Registrar and disciplinary action shall be taken as per the rules. In case the result of the qualifying examination has been declared publicly but the certificate has not been issued by the concerned Board/University, such candidates shall have to produce a certificate from the Head of the Institute last attended.
VLDD	Veterinary Livestock Development Diploma	RPS College of Veterinary Sciences also offers Veterinary Livestock Development (VLD) Diploma on the basis of an Entrance Test (VLDDET) which is conducted by LUVAS, Hisar. Admission forms for VLDD are available separately on the website of LUVAS, Hisar. The candidates under all the categories must have passed in 10+2 examination of any stream for the session of 2021-22, but from session 2022-23, the candidate must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates should see the website regularly to get an update on admission for the next year. The candidate must have attained or will attain the age of 17 years by 31st December of that year. However, for the reserved categories (SC and BC), there will be a relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit. No such relaxation will be applicable for management quota seats of affiliated private colleges. Selection Criteria

Students have to ensure they are fulfilling the required eligibility conditions before venturing to apply. A pass in plus-two from a recognised educational institution with subjects as biology, physics and chemistry as subjects is the eligibility condition to apply. Students have to apply for NEET UG and pass it with required qualifying marks.

NEET UG is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates can opt for either one of the above mentioned exams and then appear for it. Post appearing, candidates have to check for the result and ensure they have passed the test with required qualifying marks.

Students who passed NEET UG can take part in the counselling conducted by Veterinary Council of India (VCI), they can also likely apply for counselling conducted by LUVAS. Selection of students will be done based on factors – performance in written exam (NEET UG), performance in the qualifying exam, choice of the course by the candidates, availability of seats.

Students who wish to get admission into VLDD course have to appear for Entrance Test - VLDDET which is conducted by LUVAS, Hisar. Post passing VLDDET with required qualifying marks, students can take part in further admission process which likely involves counselling.
