RMK Engineering College Thiruvallur Established in the year 1995, R.M.K. Engineering College is situated in a picturesque environment at Kavaraipettai, Gummidipoondi Taluk at a distance of 30 km from Chennai Tamil Nadu. The College is managed by Lakshmikanthammal Education Trust.
The merit of the qualifying test and participation in the TNEA Counseling provided by Anna University is used to evaluate admission to B.Tech programs at RMK Engineering College. the College has initiated 10 Scholarships of the value of Rs 5000/- each to be given to needy, deserving and meritorious Students.
The college features an energy park, which was built with TEDA money and uses solar energy for pumps and lighting. For the hostels, it is intended to purchase a solar water heater.

Undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programs in a variety of subjects are offered at RMK Engineering College Thiruvallur. The merit of the qualifying test and participation in the TNEA Counseling provided by Anna University is used to evaluate admission to B.Tech programs at RMK Engineering College.
The institute offers M.Tech on the basis of the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), which is administered by Anna University, and ambitious students must also participate in the Tamil Nadu Common Admissions, which is also administered by Anna University.
The Rotary Club of Chennapatna has given the College the title of ‘Clean and Green Campus' for its very clean, green, and attractive campus, which provides a great learning environment.
A landscape consultant, garden supervisors, a big number of gardeners, and a full collection of garden equipment are all available at the college. The campus is incredibly green and lovely because of the landscaping, which includes green grass, decorative plants, and shaded trees. In 2003, the Rotary Club of Chennai named the institution as the "Most Green and Clean Campus."
