R.M.K. College of Engineering and Technology (RMKCET) is an engineering college in the village of Puduvoyal, in the municipality of Tiruvallur, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is governed by the Lakshmikanthammal Educational Trust, affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, and approved by AICTE. It is a Telugu minority institution.
The RMK group of educational institutions began their educational services in the early nineties and for the past 25 years it is their sustained hard work and dedication that has carved on niche in the field of engineering education. RMK College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2008. RMK college of engineering spares no effort however tough or small it may be in elevating the educational quality, the bearing and orientation of the engineers that are molded, shaped and polished to be the young visionaries of the future of mankind.
The college infrastructure, staff, amenities and the ambience and finally the placement record draws the children and the parents to our institution.
The vision of the college is to be a knowledge hub that provides quality technical education and promotes research for building up of our nation and its contribution for the betterment of humanity.

Students are expected to pay the fees before the specific date as notified by the college. Fees once paid will not be refunded. Even if a student discontinues the course, he/she must pay the fee for the entire Course. Parents and Visitors are permitted to meet their children/wards only after the College working hours and after taking permission from the Principal.
Students are expected to use courteous and polite language with members of the staff and maintain decorum inside and outside the campus.

The candidate should have passed the twelfth standard of Tamil Nadu H.S.C. (Academic) or an equivalent examination recognised by Anna University with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The Candidate should have passed the Diploma Examination in Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or an equivalent examination for direct admission to second year (Lateral Entry).
Number of appearances, minimum marks and other criteria for admissions to B.E / B.Tech courses are as per AICTE and State government norms.
