The college believes that money should not a problem in the way of education. They strongly believe that every student of the country ie entitled to education and they should have access to it completely without any hassle. For this, they have introduced enough scholarships so that the financially disabled and BPL students can take benefit of and get waiver off in their tuition fee.

Along with this, the meritorious students are also given major concession in their tuition fee as a way of reward. The Rabindranath Tagore University was established in the Raisen District near Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh with the sole aim to provide quality education in an affordable manner to the youth of the backward regions. The task comes with undeniable responsibility to build an education system that is both easily accessible and affordable to the students.

The university was established to support various government initiatives and policies like the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), Digital India, Swachh Bharat, Jandhan Yojana and more. The college has launched its own scholarship program with the name Shiksha Mitra Scholarships. It is the largest University aided Scholarship Program at the state level. The scholarships worth Rs. 1 Crore are to be handed out under this programme.

The scholarship scheme rewards the scholarship to the students based on their marks in 12th standard board examinations. The following conditions are applicable if you want to apply for scholarship with the Rabindranath Tagore University :

• The rank holder prizes are valid only according to the letters sent from school principals. The students who think they are eligible for the scholarship should contact their school principal for the same.
• All the scholarships provided by the university are based on the merit and are awarded on a first come first serve basis depending upon the availability of the seat.
• The decision of University Management for the grant of scholarships is final.

The university also offers scholarships to those who are applying for postgraduate programs. In such cases the university takes the graduation marks into account with the same terms and conditions as above.

Rabindranath Tagore University Bhopal Campus 

The college campus is designed keeping the requirements and the needs of the modern students in check. To begin with, the campus is a fully wi-fi enabled campus because the internet is the need of the hour for the students to learn and also for the faculty to teach. The college is updated with all the latest technologies and is constantly upgraded to latest teaching facilities.

Some of the top facilities of the campus are library which has a collection of 40.000 books, 6,000 titles and thousands of CDs, journals and reports that cater to a wide range of subjects. Transport facilities are provided to the students which has a fleet of bus. Students at Rabindranath Tagore University are not required to follow the set pattern of doing things but are encouraged to experiment.

This kind of environment is created in the campus because this leads to the overall development of the students. There is a special student’s club in the college campus that is basically created for the expression of creativity for the students. Rabindranath Tagore University provides vibrant plate form to promote creative talent in students and faculty.

Numerous events, competitions and celebrations are organised in the university. 2015-16 was a rich literary year providing wings to the talent. There is a literary group called ‘Lekhani’ which has been formed to create plate form to all students and faculty of the university to display their artistic talent. The first literary magazine of the university under the aegis of this group was published in 2015.

Another one of their top events are Rang Sangeet In Natya Samaroh. In this event, theatrical presentation of a storyline lambasting the writers circle having a proclivity of compromising. It was a unique opportunity for hundreds of students gathered in the assembly hall of the university to get a firsthand chance to know the theatre. In the first session of two-day drama fest, Vihan Drama Works made a melodious presentation of ‘Rang Sangeet’. It was followed by the outstanding enactment of Santosh Choubey’s story ‘Lekhak Banane Wale’. 

There is an arts and cultural hub in the college through which different arts related events are carried out in the college campus. Events like Seven-day Grand Celebration of Vishwarang, Pustak Yatra - A precursor event of Vishwarang, Cultural Clubs and College Band, etc are organised to keep the students engaged and entertained in fun activities every year. During all these events, a lot of celebrities have also graced the shows with their presence. 

The college also conducts a lot of social activities to keep the students engaged in some work related to social causes. Some of those activities are NSS, NCC, etc. Through these, activities like Republic Day camp parade, National games, NSS camp, celebration of new year’s and children’s day with orphan kids, etc are carried out. It helps the students to develop a sense of empathy with other fellow beings in the world. 

Some of the landmark events of the college are HARMONY 2K15 Fresher's Party, National Festival Independence Day And Republic Day, BHARAT KE RANG Traditional Dances Of Northeast, RabindraNath Tagore University In Spiritual Flavour, RabindraNath Tagore University Garba Special (10th-11th Oct. 2015), Romanian Theater Group, and Rhythem 2K16. 

The college faculty pays extra effort to the student’s development in a lot of ways. The Student Services provides comprehensive programs and services to promote the academic and social potential of all students within a context that honors each student's cultural and intellectual diversity.

Student Services professionals are student advocates who work in partnership with other educators, parents guardians, and community organizations to support the academic and social needs of all students throughout their high school career and help each student prepare for their lives after high school. Some of the top activities carried out by them are Career Management Center and Career Counseling And Career Development Seminars. They also offer enough internship opportunities to the students in every break to help them better their career. 

Rabindranath Tagore University Bhopal Hostel 

Both girls and boys are offered accommodation facility within close radius of the main campus. All the basic facilities are made available at the hostel and it is made sure that the students have a pleasant stay. 

The college also has a hostel for the girls and the boys of the college. The hostels of the college are very well ventilated and that is the first priority of them to ensure that hostels have proper ventilation for the college.

There are comfortable twin and triple sharing rooms in the college with proper amenities. The hostels have wi-fi throughout the day because that is the need of the hour for the students. Talking about the security of the college, there is warden who looks after the hostel campus and for the needs of the students. 

The security is obviously intact but that doesn’t mean that the students cannot have fun in their hostels. They just have to be in discipline. SAFETY” is the prime objective in the campus and the institution is known as “SAFE HEAVEN” especially for girl students. The hostel also has a mess which provides hygienic and fresh food to the students three times a day along with the evening snack. 

The students can enjoy the meals inside the mess in a light hearted and chilled environment. The college takes pride in saying that they haven’t ever received a single complaint about the hostel food’s taste and quality. They make sure that the students do not feel that they are away from their homes.

• All the hostels possess well ventilated living rooms attached with bathrooms.
• Air-conditioned rooms facility is also available in the hostels and can be made available on request. Of course, their fee is higher. 
• Students can avail the Laundry facility twice in a week for Washing and ironing their clothes.·
• Students going for outing should return to hostel on time and must take warden’s permission for being late. 
• 24 Hours medical facility is available in the Hostel.·
• Students are hereby informed to take care of their personal belongings carefully. Management is not responsible for the loss of any valuable things of the students in the Hostel.
• Dedicated fitness centres are available for boys and girls, which are in close proximity to the hostels.
