Paavai Group Of Colleges Namakkal Eligibility Criteria

B.E/B.Tech 

• A pass in XII std., of Tamilnadu HSC (Academic) with Maths, Physics and Chemistry. (or)
• A pass in XII std., of Tamilnadu HSC (Vocational Stream) with Engineering / Technology Vocational Subjects and any one or two of the related subjects like Maths, Physics or Chemistry.
• A pass in an equivalent examination accepted by Universities in Tamilnadu for admission to B.E. / B.Tech., / B.Arch. degree courses.

B.Sc

A pass with prescribed minimum eligibility marks in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration with 10+2+3 year’s pattern and studied Mathematics at +2 level or studied Mathematics as core or ancillary subjects at B.Sc. level alone are eligible for admission to B.E/ B.Tech degree courses through Lateral Entry.

MBA 

A pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained atleast 50% ( 45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.

MCA

Paavai Group Of Colleges Namakkal Admission Process

The admissions in the college happens through both the offline and the online modes. For the online modes, the students have to visit the official website of the college and go to ‘admission’ and then apply from there. 

For the offline process, the students have to visit the campus of the college and and go to the admission office of Paavai Educational Institutions. The candidates can fill the application form right there itself.

All the applications duly filled in should be sent by registered post to the admission office before the stipulated date. Applications can also be directly submitted to the admission office. Duly filled downloaded application from the website can be sent along with DD for Rs. 1000 by registered post to the Director Admissions.

Paavai Moodle is the learning management system that is designed to help staff create an online classroom setting with opportunities for rich interaction and collaboration. It contains various design aspects that allow staff and students to interact, collaborate, and experience online learning in multiple ways. Moodle can be used to supplement on-ground courses or can be used to host online courses.

Some of the other facilities of the college are labs, library, auditoriums, sports and games area, cafeteria, hostel, gymnasium, health care centre, and also transport facilities. The rain water harvesting pond –  Amirthavarshini, collects every drop of rain water in the campus into the 100 x 80 Feet pond, thereby replenishing the ground water. Amirthavarshini has helped recharge the ground water in the Pachal area, thereby reducing water scarcity in the area and also reducing the salt content in the water. There is a specialised student’s council of the college that helps the students with a lot of extra curricular activities and extra functions to keep them engaged and also to let them explore their personalities to the fullest.

Paavai Engineering College is the “Champion of Champions” at The Anna University Sports Board competitions. With a total score of 500 points, Paavai dethroned the decade long winners – St.Joseph’s, by a margin of 190 points. Paavai Institutions emphasizes on the importance of Sports & Games amongst the students and to actively promote it, the institutions have created world-class facilities to enable the students to learn and excel at sports.
