MR Veterinary College Eligibility Criteria

1. M.R. College of Veterinary Science and Resaerch Centre, Hassanpur also offers Veterinary Livestock Development (VLD) Diploma on the basis of an Entrance Test (VLDDET) which is conducted by LUVAS, Hisar. Admission forms for VLDD are available separately on the website of LUVAS, Hisar.
2. The candidates under all the categories must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates should see the website regularly to get an update on admission.
3. The candidate must have attained or will attain the age of 17 years by 31st December of that year. However, for the reserved categories (SC and BC), there will be a relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit. No such relaxation will be applicable for management quota seats of affiliated private colleges.
4. Candidate should regularly visit the website of LUVAS i.e. www.luvas.edu.in for an update for counselling and admission procedure .

MR Veterinary College Admission Process

Admission in the college happens through the online mode. For this, the students have to visit the official website of the college. From the home page, the students have to click on ‘admission’ tab and then click on ‘online registration form’. Once they click on this, the students are taken to another screen on the website where the online registration form appears. The students can fill the form and wait for the updates on their registered email address or mobile number. 

Documents required 

• Matric Certificate with Date of Birth and Father’s/Mother’s Name.
• The 10+2 certificate from Board of School Education, Haryana/CBSE/any other Board considered approved/equivalent as a member by COBSE, New Delhi. If any certificate is found fake or not equivalent by any of the above Boards at any stage, admission will be cancelled and legal action will be initiated.
• Haryana Resident Certificate
• Character Certificate (CC)from the institute last attended.
• The applicants who have passed the qualifying examination earlier and if there is a gap of more than one year from the date of declaration of result of the previous examination (other than the pursuit of studies in an institution/college) shall give a self undertaking regarding their non-enrollment in any institution. Similarly, the applicants who have passed the qualifying examination as private candidates will also have to submit the undertaking in this regard.
• Two coloured photographs of size (2" x 2"), which should be the same as uploaded on the online admission form.
• Copy of Aadhar Card viii. Copy of the admit card of 10th class and 10+2 class issued by the concerned education board.

MR Veterinary College Campus Life

The college has elaborate buildings which are available for teaching with well-equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, and well-facilitated residential accommodation for college students. The college as per MSVE regulations has established the departments with modern state- of- art facilities with round the clock functional veterinary clinical complex to cater to the needs of livestock farmers in the region as well as functional livestock farm complex with different species of animals and poultry for practical teaching of the students.

A lot of extra curricular activities are organised in the college campus for the students to take part in and explore their life better. The college also provides a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned in the classroom, offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context and are thus considered part of a well-rounded education. 

There is a well-stocked library in the college campus for the benefit of students and staff. It remains open on all working days from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Library is fully automated with internet facilities and e-journals. It consists of Reference Sections, Circulation Sections and Periodical Sections. The library has a collection of books of different disciplines, scientific journals, departmental manuals, magazines, newspapers. It is highly spacious which can accommodate upto 200 scholars at a time. 

There is one seminar hall in the college which is designed in a way to accelerate the teaching-learning process using modern technological aids. Activities like guest lectures, workshops, student meetings, staff meetings, placement drives, Faculty-Development Programs, etc. are conducted in this hall. It is fully media-equipped with LCD Projector & other facilities. It has a capacity of 100 viewer seats. 

The college faculty and the management have an innovative approach to learning for which they have smart classrooms as well. There is also a spacious air-conditioned conference hall which can accommodate around 50 persons at a time. The conference hall is equipped with audio-video equipment and internet connectivity. The college has a well structured computer laboratory with more than 100 high quality Dual Core 2.70 GHz machines from HCL.

Computer laboratory is connected with 24 Hrs uninterrupted power supply. The internet connectivity with campus wide area networking enables access from anywhere. Internet connectivity is extended to hostels with Wi-Fi connectivity. The lab is equipped with latest Cisco Routers, various Switches, Networking Cables, Wired and Wireless LAN Cards.

The college provides transport facility for the students and the staff for which they have a big fleet of more than 20 buses plying up to a radius of 20km for very nominal charges. 

The campus has adequate sports infrastructure like cricket, basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, etc. It presents excellent facilities for indoor & outdoor games. A modern & fully functional gymnasium soon will be established with all the necessary equipment to make the students healthy & strong. There is a canteen in the college of course, which works from 08:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. they provide highly hygienic food that caters to the needs of healthy and nutritious eatables. The routine health check up of the cook and the workers is carried at regular intervals. Furthermore, Food items available in canteen are nutritious and wholesome to ensure a well-balanced diet including fresh fruit juices, milkshakes, ice creams. Midnight snacks are also available in the canteen for those energy boosts.
