The college also has an anti ragging cell that manages any kind of ragging or offensive activities happening in the college campus and prohibits it happening. If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the University Authorities, the concerned student will be given opportunity to explain and if the explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel him from the University without prejudice to the right to proceed legally.
Causing, inducing, compelling or forcing a student, whether by way of practical joke or otherwise, to do any act which detracts from human dignity or violates his/her person or exposes him/her to ridicule from doing any lawful act. By intimidating, wrongfully restraining, wrongfully confining, or injuring him or by using criminal force on him/her or by holding out to him/her any threat of intimidation, wrongful confinement, injury or the use of criminal force.
They also have a different department for the distance education programmes too. The college has MOUs with international and national companies and educational bodies.
MATS university has MATS school for the different departments like MATS school of business studies, MATS school of education, MATS school of arts and humanities, MATS school of law, MATS school of sciences, and lots more. The college also has a specialised students council for the benefit of the students.
Some of the initiatives taken by the college are gender sensitivity, green practises, rain water harvesting and water permeable paver block, waste management, and institutional distinctiveness.
Some of the social awareness programmes conducted by the college are Gyan Sabha, awareness programme on gender equality, community outreach programmes, Deep Dan, ek diya desh k naam, free computer training for the village students, PEHEL, Paani nuked natak, green Chattisgarh clean Chattisgarh initiative, UDAAN, vigilance awareness, women’s day celebration, and lots more of such things.

Merit-Based Admission
The admission process is based on merit as determined by the marks in the entrance examination and/or previous academic performance. The merit list published by MATS University will be final and cannot be contested.
Provisional Admission
Admission will be provisional until the candidate submits all necessary documents, including the final qualifying examination results.
Verification of Documents
The University reserves the right to reject or cancel any application if false or forged documents are discovered at any stage of the process. Legal action may be taken in such cases.
Criminal Background Check
Candidates involved in criminal activities or those who conceal such information will be disqualified from admission. If discovered later, the admission will be revoked.
Character and Conduct
The University reserves the right to deny admission to any candidate whose character, behavior, or previous record is considered unsatisfactory.
MATS University invites applications for admission to various professional programs. The selection process will be based on merit and entrance exams, with the following procedure to be followed:
Campus Visit:
Prospective students, along with their parents/guardians, are encouraged to visit the University and explore its various facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, library, hostels, and transport services, before finalizing their admission.
Affidavit for Enrollment:
Upon admission, students must submit an affidavit signed by both the student and their parents/guardians. This affidavit will confirm their commitment to disciplined conduct throughout the program. Non-compliance with University policies will lead to disciplinary action.

All legal matters related to the University will be handled under the jurisdiction of the Raipur courts in Chhattisgarh.

Eligibility
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the chosen program can apply for admission. Students awaiting the results of their qualifying exams may apply for provisional admission. However, the final results must be submitted to the University by October 31 (or by a date specified by the Regulatory Council).
Document Submission
Applicants must ensure that self-attested copies of their mark sheets and other relevant documents are attached to the application form. Original documents are not required at this stage.
Photograph
A recent passport-sized photograph should be affixed in the designated space on the application form.

The college hosts a programme for the college students called MATSOTSAV which is like an annual fest. Different activities are involved in the programme to make students explore their capabilities and also enjoy the college life.
The college organises different industrial visits for the students as well to get as much corporate and industrial exposure as possible. The students are taken on industrial visits in and out of Raipur for giving them the maximum push and exposure. Through these activities, the students are made ready for the corporate world.
The college has libraries with a huge collection of journals and books to help the students. All the libraries have been automated using Integrated Library Management System (ILMS). The students are also engaged in extra curricular activities in the college campus. The aim of organising enough extra curricular activities in the college campus is to ensure that the students have a great and a fun time in the college. The extra curricular activities also ensure that the students evolve in different areas of life through different entertaining activities.
Not only it is fun to gain knowledge with the help of new technologies, but also it is immensely helpful. A college should always focus on brining new technologies in their study model to help the students gain more facts in easy ways and less time. Having latest education techniques makes this college one of the best ones in the city to impart education in the students.
The college helps and encourages the students for activities like sports and extra co curricular activities and let them explore beyond the academics. The entire campus is under CCTV survillance for the safety of each on in the campus.Also there are three well furnished Conference Halls to provide a platform for holding mnagerials and other academic meetings. The State-Of the Art infrastructure makes them a lively place of brainstorming sessions and decisions.
The safety of the students is the top approach of the college. These are only present in the college from the student’s safety point of view. With these, we ensure that the students are always in the safe hands in the campus.
All in all, the campus of the college is a modern one with all the well equipped technologies that are required for the students. The campus life of the college is designed keeping the student life in point. The college makes sure that all of the facilities of the college help the students with everything they need in their college life.
Along with giving the students an excellent classroom knowledge, the faculty of the college is also engaged in exposing the students to the practical knowledge. The students are taken to the industries for every kind of practical approach.
Some of the highlights of the college campus are Library, Seminar Hall, Playground, Cafeteria, and the Medical rooms. These are the most talked about facilities of the college that are popular in the whole city.

The college provides hostel facilities for the boys and girls separately where the boys accommodation is 100 and girls accommodation is around 350. Parents are kept informed about Hostel life of their children, with phone calls and letters.
The boarding establishment provides an opportunity for young people to live away from home in a democratic way. Every effort is made to provide an atmosphere of a natural Indian family in which these young people can fully grow. They are guided for sound relationships with their peers.
The college hostel has trained, enthusiastic, motivated staff who are committed to care for young people, extending the Hostel's theme of 'Preparation of life! Hostel runs comprehensive proficiency programmes and we take great care in supporting all of our students' talents. We have students participating and succeeding in a diverse array of sports, cultural and academic pursuits.
The hostel has all the latest facilities for the need of the modern college students. The rooms have 24*7 electricity with back up and also wifi. The rooms are well furnished with cots, table, chair, cupboards, lights, fan, etc. The bathrooms of the hostel are entirely clean all the time.
Extra care is taken for the hygiene and safety of the students. The security is road the clock that ensures no outsiders could enter the campus premises. Also, transport facility is given to the students as well.
