Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) New Delhi was founded in 1999 by Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society, which is funded by a group of well-known industrialists, entrepreneurs, professionals and philanthropists with the goal of promoting quality technology and management education.
MAIT has risen from strength to strength to emerge as one of Private Institutes' top technical institutes and has been consistently rated by DATAQUEST among the top engineering institutes.
MAIT 's campus consists of 10 buildings including the Admin Block with Wi-Fi access, well-equipped modern laboratories, an intellectually packed Learning Resource Center with books and E-Resources, Boys Hostel, Gym and Auditorium.
The Institute aims to cultivate future engineers and managers by improving their expertise and research capabilities to become effective business people and responsible citizens.

Engineering
The students are required to apply for IPU CET Entrance Examination for admission to the B.Tech programme. In their 12th board exam, a minimum of 55 percent is expected. They have to have gone past the PCM line. In order to get admitted to the class, they do need to achieve a good ranking in the entrance exam.
The cut-off is set by the institution's admissions authorities. The Institute calls on them to visit the campus for a personal interview once the students have passed the test. Then, the dates of the new session are given to students. They will also attend an Institute therapy session.
Admissions to MAIT's BTech programs are made on the basis of the marks obtained in the GGSIPU, Delhi, IPU CET exam. After the test has been completed, successful candidates must also attend a counseling cycle coordinated by GGSIPU, Delhi
Registration: The candidates can apply online or offline to register themselves for the admission process. Once they register, they will generate the Login ID & Password.The online process can be done through the official website of the college. If the candidate goes for the offline process then they will have to write to IILM Graduate School of Management Admission Office for the required admission form.
MAIT Application Form: Now, Students can fill the application form using the login credentials. In the application form, students need to fill in the details such as personal information such as name, parents names, address, contact details, etc. The eligibility criteria for filling the application form is the students should have 50% marks in their previous academy examinations that is in their graduation.
Upload documents: In this part of the application form, students need to upload the scanned photograph, signature and 12th class mark sheet.
Application Fees Payment: The last step of this process is to pay the application fees and then submit the form along. Without paying the application fee online, the form will not be accepted.
Post all these, the students are invited for personal interactions with faculty members after which the offer is made to the qualifying candidates.
The campus has well designed infrastructure to suit the modern demands of the students. The life inside the campus for the students is extremely well maintained, put under strict rules with free flow of get togethers to grow along with each other, and has all the modern facilities required for the students.
The facilities provided inside the campus are conference halls, lecture theatres, libraries, laboratories, medical facilities, hostel, computer lab, cafeteria, gym, sports facility inducing sports ground, transport, ATM and bank facilities, and auditoriums. The students are given freedom to enjoy their college life to the fullest inside the campus keeping all the rules intact.
