Overview

Katihar Medical College was established to create awareness among the people. It was started by Al-Karim minority community of Bihar. The college mainly contemplates to amplify the facility in higher and professional studies of the youths of the Muslim religious minority community. The college has been splendidly situated in one of the most abaft regions of India at Katihar, which has a handful population of the Muslim community. As a minority educational institution, it conjures the provisions of Article 30(i) of the Constitution of the Republic of India. The graduate medical curriculum is aligned towards training students to engage in the responsibilities of a Physician of the first contact who is adept at looking after the deterrent, conductive, healing and rehabilitative aspects of medicine.
