More than satisfactory will the apt description when the talk is about the placement at Jeppiaar College of Arts and Science. The chief point is the Placement Cell which has well qualified personnel who ensure the performance touches its peak during every placement season.

In order to cater to the specific needs of each core discipline and to have better co-ordination with the Departments, the placement activity at JAS is grouped as School of Commerce and Business, School of Computer Technology, School of Media and School of Arts. 

The objective of the Placement Cell is to organize the campus interviews. There is more to it, the another aim is to orgarganize industrial visits and guest lectures by corporate heads. The focus is on final and pre final year students, the cell  conducts entrepreneurship awareness program for them.

There cell leaves no stone unturned when it comes to providing the best for students. There is placement preparation program for final year and pre final year students. The cell works for enhancing industry-academy interaction. 

Top companies visit the premises regularly, as they know that this college is the place where talented human resources are available in abundance. Students get to do intership in top companies, this will help them get a first hand knowledge of requirements of industry along with fine work experience. The placement cell also provides internship placements to give world class on-the-job training. 

Students are made campus ambassadors and the purpose behind that is to give way to better Industry-Institution-Interface,  supervised by the Placement Officer. It is a platform for students to interact with corporate and to learn new skills. It helps to network with industry representatives and builds self-confidence.
