Scholarship Scheme at JECRC University

JECRC University offers scholarships to meritorious students based on their academic performance and specific eligibility criteria. Below are the details of the scholarships available:

Scholarship Conditions

1. Only one scholarship from categories 1 to 4 will be awarded, whichever is higher.
2. Students receiving government or private financial aid for education are not eligible for JECRC University scholarships.
3. To maintain the scholarship, students must:
   • Achieve a minimum CGPA of 8.0 (SGPA of 8.0 in the 1st semester).
   • Maintain at least 75% attendance in each subject.
   • Have no compartment in any subject.
4. Scholarship Review Process:
   • The scholarship will be reviewed at the end of each even semester.
   • If a student fails to meet the required criteria, the scholarship will be withdrawn.
   • A withdrawn scholarship may be reinstated if the student meets the criteria after the next even semester.
5. Strict Criteria:
   • No relaxation will be provided in CGPA or attendance requirements.
   • If CGPA falls below 7.99 or attendance in any subject is below 75%, the student will lose the scholarship.
   • Even if a student is granted attendance relaxation to appear in exams, the scholarship will still be revoked.
6. University Discretion:
   • The university holds the right to discontinue the scholarship scheme at any time.
   • Final scholarship decisions rest with JECRC University’s appropriate committees.

JECRC University Eligibility Criteria

JECRC University Selection Criteria

Selection of candidates is based on JEE Main, JET, CLAT, CAT/MAT/XAT and GATE respectively followed by group discussion and personal interview.

JECRC University Admission Criteria

• B.Tech: For admission to B.Tech JEE Main is required.
• B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture: For admission to B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture JET is required.
• Integrated Law: For admission to Integrated Law CLAT is required.
• MBA: For admission to MBA CAT/MAT/XAT is required.
• M.Tech: For admission to M.Tech GATE is required.
• PhD: For admission to PhD the candidate needs to take a written test followed by personal interview.

• Application Fees for UG and PG Courses is Rs. 500 and for PhD it is Rs. 1500.

JECRC University Campus Life

To make the campus life of students fruitful, JU provides all the possible facilities to students like apartment-style rooms with a television set (Optional in AC Rooms only), internet access and pantry space, mess and cafeteria, computational simulation and enabling technology lab, separate hostels for boys and girls, 24*7 first aid centre and hospital arrangement, volleyball court, a well-equipped gymnasium, badminton court, football ground, basketball court, and indoor game facilities like table tennis etc.

The institution has hostel accomodation for both girls and boys. The hostel rooms available are AC and Non AC. The rates for both these type of accomodation is different.
