Selection to International Maritime Academy is based on the merit scored by the candidates in the previous qualifying examination, medical examination and personal interview. Candidates who fail in the medical examination cannot get admission to IMA.

How To Apply in International Maritime Academy Chennai

The candidates can download the individual application forms from the website or the IMA office.

• Candidates can get the Application Form online or from the office.
• Eligible candidates can reserve their seats by sending the filled application form along with a DD of Rs. 5000/- in favour of International Maritime Academy Payable at Chennai.
• Candidates will be then informed about the medical examination, certificate verification and interview round that will be held at the IMA office.
• Students who clear the medical examination and further testing procedure need to pay the balance course fee before the commencement of the course.
