The Himachal Institute of Pharmacy established in 2008 falls under the aegis of the Medical Charitable Trust of Doctor Puran Chand. The Institute was started with a simple motive of staying committed towards the technical education of the rural community. Headed by Doctor M Senthil Kumar, the educational body follows a result oriented approach towards education. It offers modern infrastructural resources, hostel facilities, necessary transport amenities and complete campus security to all the students. This Institute was the brainchild of Doctor V K Gupta who was the founder of the Trust.
