About GLA University Mathura

Originally set up in 1998, GLA Mathura finally became a University in 2010. This institute located in Mathura, UP, is a private university whose campus is set in an area of 110 acres. The university offers different courses in UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate and research levels.

The subjects or the fields in which the GLA university offers these courses are Engineering & Technology, Business Management, Polytechnic, Applied Sciences & Humanities, Pharmaceutical Research, and Education.

The vision of the college is to create a remark of being a pace-setting university that focuses on research, education, and development in established and emerging professions. The college has over 600 faculty members with an alumni base of 17,000 students. The different courses offered by GLA in the undergraduate programmes are B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, B.Pharm, B.ED, BA, B.Com, BBA, BA LLB.

The courses offered by GLA in the post graduate/masters program are M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA, MBA, M.Pharm. Altogether, they offer 36 undergraduate and 23 post graduate courses in their university. Other courses offered by the university are 8 Diploma courses, 4 certificate courses, and 14 PhD courses.

They offer certificate courses in subjects like yoga and meditation, CAD,CAM, fitness trainer, and computer hardware and networking. The admission in GLA Mathura is done through the GLAET Entrance Exam that is conducted by GLA University itself. So, they choose their students based on their in house university exam. The university is known for having different cells like innovation cell, entrepreneurship cell, and Newgen IEDC for promotion of different activities.

GLAET is an online MCQ exam taken for different courses. They offer different kinds of GLAET exams for the courses like PhD and short term courses. The major exams of the National levels are also mandatory to be given for applying in this university for specialised courses like MBA and M.Tech.

Course Name	Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech	Candidates must have passed 10+ 2 examinations from a renowned board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational as one of the other subject. The candidate must have an 60% in each subject and 50% overall.
B.Sc	Candidates must have an aggregate of 50% in 10+2 from a renowned board with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Biology/ Biotechnology / Mathematics as one of the main subjects.
B.Com	Candidates must have passed 10+2 with an aggregate of 50% from a renowned board.
MBA	Candidates must have a minimum aggregate score of 50% in the qualifying Bachelor’s degree from a renowned university. Also, a valid score of CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ TANCET/ CMAT is required for selection.
BA LLB [Hons]/ B.Com LLB	Candidates must have passed (10+2) exam from the recognized board with a 50% aggregate marks
BBA	Candidates must have passed (10+2) exam from the recognized board with a 50% aggregate marks

Admission Process

GLA University Mathura Admission

Admission in GLA University Mathura can be done through the GLAET exams which is an in house exam of the university. It is an online MCQ based exam. The other courses like MBA need the scores of the National level exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, etc. The admissions for courses like B.Tech can also be done through the GATE score.

The candidates can find the syllabus for the GLAET papers online on the official website of the college. The students can also download the mock papers or the sample papers for the exam and practise before giving the exams. All of these can be found on the official website of the college. Their website has mock papers for all the subjects separately.

How To Apply For GLA University, Mathura

How to apply for GLA Mathura Institute

Registration: The candidates can apply offline or online to register themselves for the admission process. Once they register, they will generate the Login ID & Password.

GLA Institute Application Form: Now, Students can fill the application form using the login credentials. In the application form, students need to fill in the details such as personal information such as name, parents names, address, contact details, etc.

Upload documents: In this part of the application form, students need to upload the scanned photograph, signature and 12th class marksheet.

Application Fees Payment: The last step of this process is to pay the application fees which is Rs 700 for this college and then submit the form along.

Admission to all the courses is based on performance in GLAET which is followed by an interview. GLAET is basically and online MCQ based exam of 2 hours depending on the course it is applied for.

For admission in MBA, along with GLAET, the candidates are also selected on the basis of the marks obtained in CAT/ MAT/ XAT
