GITAM Hyderabad Scholarships

Scholarships are given to the students on merit basis to reward for their hard work and also scholarships are given with a motive to help the financially backward students with some financial aid by cutting the tuition fee less.

GITAM Hyderabad Campus

The campus of the college is the modern one having all the latest facilities and amenities. To begin with, the campus is a fully wi-fi enabled one keeping the use of internet for the use of students in mind. The campus is fully wi-fi campus because of the needs of the students and also because of the changing pattern of the studies for the students.

The campus offers beautiful spaces for studying, evolving, communicating, interacting, and living. The students who are interested in sports are also given a chance to take part in many of them and grow as sports people. They are even given opportunities to represent the college in various Inter College championships.

The faculty and the members of the college make sure that the students do not remain behind when it comes to technology inside the campus. The college arranges seminars and guest lectures on different subjects by the experts of the various fields for the benefit of the students. This is done to increase the vision of the students by including lots of eminent people as the speakers.

There is also a spacious and well-capacitated canteen/mess for students, which provides delightful food at minimal price. There is a sports area and a medical room inside the college campus as well.

The college also has different students clubs for the students to let them take part in, They want the students to engage in different activities and try out different things and find a career path for themselves. The different students clubs of the college are GCIED, Chairaveti, GUSAC, RACG, Kalakrithi, G-Studio, NCC, and NCC.

The vision of Chairaveti is to awaken the students and people around to have life-building, man-making, character making, assimilation of ideas to live up to the ideal of Seva and channelize the constructive youth power for national development. There is another club called as Disha which was started by a group of enthusiastic students under the guidance of Dr. Joseph RatnaJaykar, Associate Professor in the Department of English.

It was inaugurated on 8th December, 2017 by the then Collector of Sangareddy District, Sri Manicka Raj Kannan in the august presence of Sri. Bhaskara Prasad a retired I.A.S officer and our honourable Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. N. Siva Prasad. The inauguration was followed by enlightened speeches and interactive sessions. Engineers without borders is another club and it is a Non-Profitable Orginsation striving for development of the society.

We as a socio-technological organisation work for the betterment of society.We support social projects through collaboration with other institutions addressing concerning sanitation,Water Management Energy and waste and provide experience to studentss and professionals transforming them into socially aware responsible leaders.

We support by providing funds to any idea that helps the people in rural areas and with low income. Kalakriti is one of the student bodies in which students are solely responsible for the decisions that are taken up & it aims to instill the quality of teamwork among the students and for achieving this purpose they conduct several cultural and literary fests.

The Public Relations and Media Cell, one of the most influential student body in GITAM Hyderabad, mainly focuses on understanding and maintaining Public Relations. In other words, this body acts as an interface between the management, the students, the University and the outside world. They also run a street cause club in the campus. 

There is a specialised women empowerment cell in the college whose vision is to nurture harmony through gender equity, and inculcate the spirit of personal and professional proficiency in women to be rendered as global leaders.

Their mission is to promote a heightened awareness of women's rights and duties through various programs and platforms to render them self-reliant, and amplify both innate and learned skills for a life of honour and equal opportunity. The activities included in the women empowerment cell are women health, self defence, sanitation and hygiene, women entrepreneurship, legal awareness, and literacy. 

GITAM Hyderabad Hostel

The hostel facility is also available for the students. There are different hostels for both girls and boys. For the boys, there are hostels named Saddarma Sadan, Aditya Sadan, Vinay Sadan, Rabindra Sagar Sadan, and also Duragabai Deshmukh Sadan.

For the girls, there are hostels named Kokila Sadan, Nirmala Sadan, and also Avanthika Sadan. So, for the boys, there are 5 hostels and for the girls there are 3 hostels. The hostels of the Hyderabad campus are named as A black and B block for the boys and P block and Q block for the girls.

The college provides good, healthy, and tasty meal three times a day along with snacks every evening. The college is provided by the mess inside the college. The students have to report inside the hostel campus to have their meals on time. Special attention is paid by the chef to ensure that meals are delicious, healthy, and also home like. They take care to keep the students away from any kind of junk food and yet give them tasty meals to enjoy. Also, on the weekends the students can expect some amazing food. 

Security of the hostel campus is tight and intact for both the boys and girls. The students have to be on time and after the outer visiting hours, the students are not supposed to be outside. There are wardens, house boys, cleaning boys and ladies to help the students with their needs and regular activities inside the hostel campus.
