DY Patil University Pune (DYPU) is a private university established in 2019 under the Government of Maharashtra Act No. VI of 2019. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the university is also approved by regulatory bodies such as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Bar Council of India (BCI), Council of Architecture (COA), and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
