Rooted in Indian tradition, this contemporary form of the Hamsa, the Swan wholly embodies the vision of CMR University.
The institution is promoted by CMR Jnanadhara Trust and was established as a private University in Bengaluru through the Karnataka Government by the CMR University Act, 2013. CMR University is a New Age University that encourages creativity and cross-disciplinary learning through its unique ‘Education Engagement Model’. With an industry-designed and developed curriculum of study, the focus is on flexible, experiential, and integrated learning, involving a blend of intensive academic interventions such as group discussions, case studies, participatory classroom approach, choice of electives, and more.

This is a question that has many answers. Starting can be done with the amenities on the campus which are considered to be on par with the best in the country. These amenities play a great role in making things easier for the students there. The hostel is one of the worth mentioning amenities there.
They are called student quarters there and are separate for both boys and girls students, are managed by an exclusive Campus House that also focuses on introducing newer facilities for students based on feedback.
CMR Group offers Hostel Facilities for students studying in CMRU and CMRIT. The hostel is located within the campus and situated in the most happening place in Bangalore. Students staying in the hostel have access to all the amenities. The next point of attention will be the faculty, they are highly qualified and always stay updated with regards to their respective subjects, this enables them to give all the latest knowledge to the students only to keep them updated.
CMR University, true to its motto of nurturing creative thinkers to drive positive global change lays significant emphasis on Co-Curricular as well as Extra-Curricular Activities. The University has set up a dedicated Office of Student Affairs (OSA) that offers Learning, and Development activities for students at CMR University, by establishing student-centric learning environments, co-curricular activities, diverse opportunities for community building and leadership experiences to understand themselves and navigate the world around them.
It has various programmes and one of them is CMRUxCourses they provide students with workshops, courses and skill-building seminars across disciplines and fields of interest. Students will not require any prerequisites to sign up for these courses. Faculty Chats is another programme. Faculty Chats are conversations between faculty and students across and within disciplines to develop spaces for interdisciplinary learning and critical thinking.
The conversations and spaces for informal chats are necessary components of these events, they are incorporated to create an environment where students and faculty can engage with each other outside a traditional classroom environment, and discuss topics that are not confined to the syllabus. Any sports scholarship awarded to a student shall be initially for one year and will be renewable every year provided the awardees are improving /maintaining their proficiency in the sport/game concerned. The process to apply is online, candidates have to visit the official website of the institution and then click the appropriate link for registration. The registration can be taken up and then account comprising username and password has to be created.
Post creation of user account, they can login and then start filling the application form. The application form must be filled with details like the name of the candidate, date of birth, address, communication information like email, mobile number, course desiring to apply, qualification details. Post filling with these details, students have to pay the registration fees and then submit the application form.
Students can also look for offline mode of application form submission, if made available. Under this mode, candidates can visit the institution premises and then procure the application form along with prospectus. The form can be filled and submitted there itself or it can be brought home and filled and then sent to the institution either through post or courier. Post application submission, students have to appear for a written test CMRUAT (CMR University Admission Test) and pass it with required qualifying marks which is also known as cutoff.

3A. Sometimes after confirmation, candidates may receive an One Time Password (OTP) either on their mobile phone or email after submission of registration form. 6. Post uploading of the documents, candidates can pay the registration fee using the online modes like credit card, debit card and net banking and obtain confirmation. After obtaining the confirmation, candidates can check for errors in the application and rectify them if any. Post rectification/verifying, application can be submitted and confirmation for successful submission can be obtained.
