CSMU is committed to recognizing academic excellence and supporting deserving students through various scholarship and financial assistance schemes. These opportunities are available for UG and PG students for a minimum of one year, extending up to the full duration of their academic program.

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility: These scholarships apply only to students admitted in the 2024-25 academic year.
2. Age Limit:
   • UG Programs: Applicants must be under 22 years.
   • PG Programs: Applicants must be under 26 years.
   • No gap years should exist between the qualifying exam and admission.
3. Programs Not Covered: Scholarships are not applicable for courses with a fixed intake by statutory bodies (e.g., D. Pharm., B. Pharm., LL.B.).
4. Additional Courses: Scholarships do not apply to add-on industry-specialized courses.
5. Application Process: Eligible students must submit a formal application with supporting documents before the deadline specified by the university each academic year.
6. One Scholarship Per Student: Scholarships cannot be combined—each student may only avail one scholarship or financial assistance scheme.
7. Attendance Requirement: Students must attend at least 75% of their classes to qualify for any scholarship or financial assistance.
8. Disbursement: Scholarships are adjusted against the tuition fee or disbursed at the end of the academic year via cheque or fee concession.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University (CSMU) is committed to nurturing talented students from diverse backgrounds, fostering intellectual curiosity, and developing career-ready professionals. Our admission process is designed to identify individuals who demonstrate a passion for learning, interdisciplinary thinking, and a drive to make meaningful contributions to society.

At CSMU, students gain hands-on experience from the very beginning of their academic journey. Our faculty comprises industry experts who integrate real-world learning through state-of-the-art facilities such as healthcare simulation labs and audio engineering studios. By focusing on practical knowledge, we ensure our graduates are equipped with the skills needed to excel in their chosen fields.

The candidate must carry the following documents  for the counselling round:

• Candidates can apply both online or offline as per their comfortability.
• Original Matric Certificate (as proof of date of birth).
• Original Marks sheet/Certificates of  qualifying examination basis which the candidate is applying for admission.
• Candidates applying for B.Tech must have completed 10+2 with 60% marks and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of performance in JEE.
• JEE (Main) Rank Card/GATE/MAT/CMAT Score for admission to B.Tech, M.Tech & MBA respectively.
• Conduct Certificate issued by the previous  University/College/School/Institution last attended by the candidate informing about his/her behavior and other personality characteristics. 
• Original Migration Certificate from the Board/University (To be submitted at the time of counselling or within 15 days from the date of admission).
• Undertakings against ragging by students and their parents to be submitted at the time of Counselling.
• One copy of self-attested photocopies of the above documents except the Migration Certificate.

How to Apply for Admission (2025-26)

Step 1: Registration

• Begin by clicking on the "Apply Now" button on the official university website.
• Complete the online registration form with accurate details.
• Pay the required application fee through NEFT, PAYTM, Credit/Debit Card, or by cash at the university counter.
• Submit the registration form to proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Mode of Admission

• Entrance Exam: CSMU conducts the CSMU Common Entrance Test (CSMUCET) for technical and professional programs.
• Competitive Exam Exemption: Candidates who have already cleared state or central government entrance exams (JEE, MHCET, CAT, NATA, CLAT, etc.) are exempted from CSMUCET.
• Direct Admission: For certain programs, admission is based on the qualifying examination score and/or a personal interview.

Step 3: Admission Confirmation & Enrollment

• Shortlisted candidates must complete the online admission form and upload necessary documents (mark sheets, transfer certificate, migration certificate, etc.).
• Pay the required admission and course fees to secure enrollment.
• Hard copies of mark sheets must be verified, and original TC/Migration Certificate must be submitted to the university.
• Students will receive login credentials for Camu ERP, where they can access the course structure, timetable, study materials, and university communications.

Refund Policy in Case of Admission Withdrawal

CSMU follows the UGC guidelines regarding fee refunds in case of admission withdrawal. The refund percentage is based on when the withdrawal request is received:

Important Notes:

• A processing fee of 5% (up to ₹1,000) will be deducted for 100% refunds.
• Application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Refund requests post-course commencement require a withdrawal form, ID card surrender, original fee receipt, and a no-dues certificate.
• Refunds for foreign/NRI students will be processed per Foreign Exchange Regulations/RBI guidelines.
• The university reserves the right to modify refund policies based on regulatory updates.

CSMU,Mumbai has a sprawling campus  that covers about 30 acres of land. The sports complex with facilities like a cricket field, football ground, basketball court, and tennis court is spread over 5 acres of land. Also, the university is well-equipped with 25 hi-tech laboratories and a central library, which comprises over 20,000 books, e-books, and about 17,000 online journals.

The University with its outstanding campus and state-of-the-art education infrastructure sets a mark in itself to showcase courage and dedication to the empowering youth through creation, transfer, and applications of knowledge.

The Curriculum is delivered in spacious, amphitheatre way.
