Admission Eligibilitty Criteria

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed or appeared 10+2 or equivalent recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology.

Candidates who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training.

Candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2.
Candidates must be 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

UG Courses

Amrita University BTech admission is based on JEE Main or AEEE rank.
Allotment of 70 per cent seats in BTech programme will be done through AEEE 2020.
For admission to BA in Mass Communication, a valid score in CAP Test is required

PG Courses

Candidates with a valid score in GATE are offered direct admission to MTech programme.
Admission to Amrita University MBA programme is based on CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT or GRE score followed by PI conducted by the institution.
For MSW, candidates will be selected based on their performance in the qualifying exam and PI conducted by the University.
International students can also apply for UG and PG courses.
Mode of admission to various UG and PG courses is online.
